Another Update!

Things move fast here at TB headquarters.
Here’s the latest ETE21 upgrades:

• CROWDFUNDING TARGET REACHED
  You did it! We did it! We all did it! Thanks to the support of the worldwide taiko community, we hit our stretch goal of 6000 EUR. Thank you! The campaign is still open until April 31^st: so if you want an ETE21 T-shirt, Hoodie or drawstring bag, now is the time: These items will NOT be on sale in October.

• EXPO EXTENDED
  In response to the support we’ve received through crowdfunding, we are committing to the extended schedule! That means official Expo program from midday Saturday to Sunday night, informal touristic and social time on Friday and Saturday morning, plus informal taiko jam and social time on Monday. In addition (yes there’s more!), all ETE21 ticket holders will have free access to the regular practice sessions of select Hamburg groups in the week leading up to the event. There is still the capacity for us to pack more into the event (e.g. more floorspace or breakout rooms), so keep that support coming in!

• COMMUNITY SONG POLL: Now open!
  The crowd have spoken and we have the initial list of repertoire for the Sunday community stage. The songs with the highest number of votes on the 1st September will be the ones we play together! Click HERE to vote. Don’t see your favourite on the list? Let us know.

• ZOOM Q&A SESSION: April 25th 7pm (CEST)
  There’s a lot of ETE21 information so far. It’s confusing. We know.
  So we’re holding a ZOOM session to explain the concept of the event and answer any questions you have. Registration details in the next update 🙂

Corona reminder: We are 100% aware of the possibility of the event not happening this year for reasons out of our control, and we are also aware that your travel plans may be affected by reasons out of your control. The ETE organisers are committed to holding the in-person event in October unless regulations make it impossible, and will keep you all up-to-date as soon as anything changes! We are also committed to representing as many groups/players as we can in October, and will remain flexible during the year as to how you can take part – just contact us if you have any questions or concerns 🙂

Hier sind die aktuellen Updates aus der TB Zentrale:

• Unser Crowdfunding Ziel wurde erreicht!
  Ihr habt es geschafft! Wir haben es geschafft! Wir alle haben es geschafft! Dank der Hilfe der weltweiten Taikocommunity haben wir unser erweitertes Crowdfunding Ziel von 6000 EUR geknackt! Vielen Dank! Die Kampagne läuft noch weiter bis zum 31. April. Also: Wenn ihr euch ein ETE21 T-Shirt, einen Hoodie oder einen Schnurrucksack schnappen wollt – wartet nicht zu lange: Diese Artikel werden im Oktober NICHT verkauft werden!

• ERWEITERTE EXPO
  Durch euren Support durch das Crowdfunding haben wir genug Mittel zur Verfügung um unseren geplanten Ablauf der Expo zu erweitern /ergänzen! Konkret bedeutet das: Ein offizielles Expoprogram von Samstagmittag (!) bis Sonntagnacht (größeres Angebot an Workshops und ein zweiter Expo Tag für alle ausstellenden Taikospieler, Verkäufer und Institutionen)! Zudem informelle Treffen und Hamburg-Tourismus am Freitag und Samstagmorgen, sowie Taiko Jam Sessions am folgenden Montag. Außerdem (jup, da gibt’s noch mehr) ist jeder Besitzer eines Expotickets berechtigt an den Trainingseinheiten ausgewählter Hamburger Taikogruppen in der Woche vor der ETE kostenfrei teilzunehmen.

• COMMUNITY SONG ABSTIMMUNG: Ab sofort geöffnet!
  Taiko-Europa hat gesprochen! Wir haben die Liste der von euch gewünschten Community Songs für die Drum:Out Sessions veröffentlicht. Jetzt liegt es an euch darüber abzustimmen! Die Songs mit den meisten Stimmen werden auf der Community Stage von uns allen gespielt werden! Hier klicken um zu voten! Falls ihr euer Lieblingstaikostück noch nicht auf der Liste sehen solltet, lasst es uns wissen und wir erweitern die Auswahl!

• ZOOM Q&A SESSION: 25. April, 19:00 (CEST)
  Das alles ist eine ganze Menge an Informationen – und vielleicht wirkt es hier und da sogar ein wenig verwirrend. Um dem entgegenzuwirken veranstalten wir in ein paar Wochen eine Frage und Antwort Session über Zoom, in welcher wir das Konzept des Events genauer erläutern und eure Fragen bezüglich dessen beantworten werden. Informationen für die Anmeldung für diese Session folgen im nächsten Update.

Corona reminder: Wir sind uns zu 100% darüber bewusst, dass die Möglichkeit besteht, dass dieses Event aufgrund von Umständen höherer Gewalt dieses Jahr eventuell nicht stattfinden kann. Uns ist ebenfalls klar, dass gleiches für die Reiseplanung der Expoteilnehmer gilt. Die ETE Organisatoren setzen alles daran das Event in Hamburg unter Berücksichtigung der entsprechend geltenden Sicherheitsmaßnahmen auszurichten. Daran hat und wird sich nichts ändern! Uns ist wichtig möglichst viele Taikogruppen und -Spieler in Hamburg im Oktober willkommen zu heißen und ihnen eine Plattform zu bieten. Um dieses zu ermöglichen werden wir unsere Eventplanung entsprechend flexibel gestalten – also sprecht uns einfach an, falls es entsprechende Anliegen geben sollte.
