Here at TB headquarters, our aim is to provide the space for the European taiko community to speak for itself.
Instead of trying to speak for the community, the principle aim of the ETE21 is to provide the platform and opportunities for the community to speak for itself – giving individual taiko players and groups the voice and recognition they deserve.
One way of doing this is acting on submissions we receive through the “Ideas and suggestions” form (which you can find here). So far we’ve had some great ideas come through, which have resulted in the following initiatives:

| Database of Origin Stories | To start building a library of information about the taiko groups that exist/ed across Europe, which is told through interesting-to-read, personal stories written by members of the groups themselves – no hearsay, just experience. They’re a little empty at the moment – but we hope that events, stories, photos, and discussions start popping up as the year goes on, giving us all a lil’ something to get excited about.

ETE21 INITIATIVEN: Von der Community vorgeschlagene Projekte
Unser Ziel hier im TB Hauptquartier ist es, der europäischen Taiko Community einen Raum zu geben, für sich selbst zu sprechen
Das Hauptziel der ETE21 ist es nicht, für die Taiko Community zu sprechen, sondern ihr eine Plattform und eine Möglichkeit zu bieten, für sich selbst zu sprechen – Taiko Spieler und Gruppen bekommen eine Stimme und die Anerkennung, die sie verdienen.
Ein Weg, um diesem Anspruch gerecht zu werden ist, auf Ideen und Vorschläge einzugehen, die über die Webseite eingereicht werden (das geht hier).
Es sind bereits viele tolle Ideen eingegangen, und daraus sind die folgenden Initiativen entstanden:

| Datenbank für Taiko Entstehungs-geschichten | Eine Sammlung zu schaffen von Informationen über Taiko Gruppen in Europa – in Form von interessanten Geschichten, die Mitglieder der Gruppen selbst erzählen – kein Hörensagen, sondern Erfahrungsaustausch. Das ist alles noch etwas leer im Moment, aber wir hoffen, dass im Laufe des Jahres Events, Geschichten, Fotos und Diskussionen dazukommen, die uns allen etwas geben, worüber und worauf wir uns freuen können.
