Want to be a part of the ETE21 but can’t make it to Hamburg? No problem!
Between now and October 1st we are collecting video submissions from the global taiko community. These will be on display for participants to see at the Expo in Hamburg on the 16th and 17th of October, and for those of you at home, they will be published here on the ETE21 website at 09.00am (CEST) October 16th.
What we’re collecting:
- VIDEO MESSAGES: Say hello to the European taiko community! Introduce yourself, or your group, and share something about yourself. Open to taikonauts worldwide.
- PHOTO SLIDESHOWS: Collect your favourite ‘taiko in Europe’ memories and put them together in a slideshow video. Open to taikonauts worldwide.
- PROMOTION VIDEOS: Put together the best clips and photos and show off your taiko-related group, association or business. Open to taikonauts based in Europe.
- PERFORMANCE VIDEOS: Present a piece as played by you or your group – it doesn’t have to be an own or European composition. Open to taikonauts based in Europe.
Submission guidelines:
BASICS: Horizontal, 16:9 aspect ratio, 720p minimum resolution, 500mb maximum file size.
LENGTH: Maximum 5 minutes.
NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS: Maximum 3 per group.
LANGUAGE: We encourage you to submit videos in your native language with English subtitles. (We also suggest this for videos already in English, as it helps the non-native speakers understand what is being said).
IMPORTANT: Please make sure you have the right to use all music and images in the video, and that it does not include inappropriate language, images or sounds.
Ihr wollt Teil der ETE21 werden, schafft es aber nicht nach Hamburg zu kommen? Kein Problem!
Wir sammeln ab sofort bis zum 1. Oktober Videoeinsendungen von der globalen Taiko Community. Diese werden auf der Expo in Hamburg für die Teilnehmer vor Ort am 16. und 17. Oktober zu sehen sein. Zudem veröffentlichen wir die Einsendungen für alle Zuhausegebliebenen hier auf der ETE21 Website am 16. Oktober um 9:00 (CEST).
Was könnt ihr einsenden?
- VIDEONACHRICHTEN: Sendet eure Grüße an die europäische Taiko Community! Stellt euch selbst oder eure Gruppe kurz vor und teilt etwas von euch mit. Offen für alle Taikonauten weltweit!
- FOTO SLIDESHOW: Wir sammeln eure lieblings “Taiko in Europa”-Momente und Erinnerungen und erstellen damit eine Fotostrecke. Offen für alle Taikonauten weltweit!
- PROMOTION VIDEOS: Schickt uns Videoclips und Fotos, welche eure Taikogruppe oder euer Business im besten Licht dastehen lassen. Offen für alle Taikonauten aus Europa!
- PERFORMANCE VIDEOS: Präsentiert ein Taikostücke das von euch/eurer Taikogruppe gespielt wird (das muss keine europäische Komposition sein). Offen für Taikonauten aus Europa.
RICHTLINIEN FÜR DIE EINSENDUNGEN:

LÄNGE: Maximal 5 Minuten.
ANZAHL DER EINSENDUNGEN: Maximal 3 pro Gruppe.
SPRACHE: Wir freuen uns besonders über Einsendungen in eurer Muttersprache, welche mit einem englischen Untertitel versehen wurden. (Ein englischer Untertitel ist ebenfalls für Videos in englischer Sprache hilfreich, da nicht alle Expoteilnehmer mit englischer Sprache aufgewachsen sind)
WICHTIG: Bitte stellt sicher, dass ihr über alle Rechte der in euren Zusendungen gezeigten Bildern, Videos und Musiken verfügt. Wir behalten uns vor Zusendungen mit anstößigem Inhalt nicht zu veröffentlichen.
